The 4-7-8 breathing technique

The 4-7-8 Breathing Technique
This breathwork is one all can do. It's a simple but powerful method for calming the mind and reducing stress. The aim is to make the exhale double the length of the inhale.
✨Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds.
✨Hold your breath for 7 seconds.
✨Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 seconds.
The key is to breathe in and out through your nose and mouth gently, not forcing it. The long exhale helps activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for relaxation.
You can do it for 4-5 cycles to start, or as long as it feels comfortable. It's especially great for moments of stress, anxiety, or even when you're trying to fall asleep.
Note: you may need to adjust the ratio to 3-5-6 if 4-7-8 is too much to begin with.
